Getting Started

Phase 1: Once the application has been received and approved, the new enrollee is assigned a file number, AAMI email alias, her Projected Completion Date (42 months from date first email is sent) and her Annual Report Date (ARD - annual check in of students progress). The student then receives several administrative and assignment emails containing proprietary information and is notified that her application has been approved and her enrollment is official. Next, the student receives the Phase 1 PDF. The student has 2 months from the date we send her first email, to complete the Phase 1 assignments. Once the student has completed the assignments, they mail their Phase 2 request form and are moved to Phase 2.
Phase 2: After the request for Phase 2 has been received, the Phase 2 PDF is emailed by the Administrator. It usually takes 1-2 weeks for the Phase 2 PDF to arrive. Students must complete the assignments in Phase 2 by the end of their 6th month of enrollment. The student is required to make a check in by phone or email when she receives the Phase 2 PDF and will be issued a check in code. When the student completes the required Phase 2 assignments, she mails the Request for Phase 3.
Phase 3: It usually takes 3-5 weeks for the System Works binder (contains both Phase 3 & Phase 4 Assignments) to arrive after the request is received but the Phase 3 pdf is emailed to the student during that period. Once the System Works binder is received, a second check in is required and the student works on completing the Phase 3 Assignments. Phase 3 must be submitted by the end of the student’s first year of enrollment. No Phase 4 assignments may be submitted until the Phase 3 have been received and accepted as complete by the Phase 3 Director.
Phase 4: Once the student has completed and submitted her Phase 3 Assignments and they have been accepted as complete by our Phase 3 Director, she has full enrollment benefits and may begin submitting completed Phase 4 work immediately. When assignments are received they are reviewed and acknowledged and set aside for further review at the end of our academic quarter. At that time, students are notified of any problems with their work or commended for good work. The top students of that quarter are named to the Honor Roll and receive a certificate.
It is not necessary to submit work on a regular basis, but we do contact students who are out of touch for a while to see if we can assist them in getting back on track. Enrollees are required to to make an additional “check in” before her first ARD.
Extensions are inexpensive and easily earned. Some complimentary extensions are given for major moves, having a baby, or severe illness in the family. We never want a student to feel hopelessly behind because of unexpected events. We would always prefer the student take as many additional months as necessary rather than give up. We are committed to helping every student reach her goal.
